Heritage Preservation Initiatives
The Heritage
Theatre Company has, as one of
its many goals, to preserve our heritage. Whether it be historical, literary, cultural, film, television, or theatrical,
we aim to uniquely preserve these genres for future generations.
To
the extent where we are permitted, this can mean in the form of oral histories of the various historic figures depicted in
our productions (if still living) or of the dramatists, video archiving, scholarly research, partnering with and involving
high schools and colleges (History, Film and Television, Sociology, and Theatre departments) in meeting educational requirements
and qualifications (through reports and presentations) leading to program graduation.
